Things to Do Before Rooting Xperia T Ultra
Take a complete backup of your device including SMS, call logs, contacts, media files and any other important data if you have.
Charge your device at least 80% so that it doesn’t power off during the flashing.
Enable USB Debugging Mode on your Xperia T Ultra, for this go to Settings > Developer options > USB debugging.
You will need a PC with windows installed and administrative privileges.
Finally a USB cable for Xperia T Ultra to connect it the PC.
Requirements
Download & Setup ADB – Fastboot on your PC.
After downloading all these files, save them to your Windows desktop.
How to Flash the Custom Recovery On Sony Xperia T2 Ultra
First of all extract the Fastboot .zip file to the desktop.
Then rename the CWM Recovery Image to boot.img.
Now connect your Xperia T Ultra to your PC using the USB cable.
After that open the command prompt
on your desktop by holding the shift key & then click the right
mouse key on a blank area on your desktop and then select the option
“open command window here”.
Now in command prompt, type the following command:
adb reboot bootloader
This will reboot your Xperia T Ultra into bootloader mode.
After entering into bootloader mode, type following command:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Now this will flash the recovery image on your Xperia T Ultra.
When flashing process completes, then reboot your phone by typing this command:
fastboot reboot
That’s all! You have done.
How to Root Sony Xperia T2 Ultra
First connect your Xperia to the PC via the USB cable.
Now copy the downloaded SuperSU file to the root directory of your device SD card.
After copying the SuperSU, disconnect your Xperia T Ultra from the PC.
Then Power off your device completely.
Now hold and press the Volume Down + Power buttons together reboot your device into recovery mode.
From the recovery menu select the “install zip from sdcard” option and then select zip from sdcard and then select the SuperSU .zip file and start the flashing process.
After the flashing process completes then select the reboot system now option to reboot your device.
Enjoy! You have root Sony Xperia T Ultra.
